WE'RE LOOKING FOR A DATA SCIENCE ANALYST

We are looking for a passionate Data Science Analyst to collaborate with Account Managers within the Analytics and Consulting team to deliver data-driven insights and analytics solutions to clients. The role involves working on diverse analytics projects, including data processing, exploratory analysis, predictive modeling, and visualization, to address client needs effectively.

You will be part of the team that is a bridge between the client i.e. leading consumer good companies and the Ai Palette team.

This is a great opportunity to work with leading consumer goods companies on very interesting challenges and expand your understanding of how social data and data science can be used to augment and replace traditional consumer research.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Analysis and Modeling

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover actionable insights.
  • Develop, validate, and deploy machine learning and predictive models to solve business problems.
  • Build and optimize recommendation systems, classification models, and forecasting solutions.

Client Collaboration and Project Delivery

  • Work closely with Account Managers to scope and execute analytics projects aligned with client objectives.
  • Prepare impactful dashboards of analytical findings for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Data Management and Visualization

  • Collect, preprocess, and manage large datasets from multiple sources.
  • Create intuitive and insightful visualizations and dashboards using tools such as MS Excel or Python libraries (e.g., matplotlib, seaborn).

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the consulting and engineering teams to translate client requirements into technical solutions.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify areas for applying analytics to drive decision-making.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in analytics, machine learning, and AI.
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation by sharing ideas, tools, and techniques with the team.

REQUIREMENTS

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or a similar language.
  • Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Proficiency in data mining, data manipulation and querying.
  • Knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent.

Analytics Experience

  • Hands-on experience in developing predictive models, optimization techniques, and statistical analysis.
  • Familiarity with NLP techniques and time series forecasting is a plus.

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly.
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consulting or working on client-facing analytics projects.
  • Exposure to MLOps practices or productionizing machine learning models.
